About the Blogger

Welcome to Curlyhairbibliophile! Thanks for stopping by! On this blog; you’ll find book reviews, discussion posts, blog tours, book tags, and more! I really don’t limit myself on what I post, and you will see that’s quite evident. I’ve been blogging since January 2017. Although I’ve been blogging for a year and a half, I am far from expertise.

Now that I’ve talked about my blog for a little, I think it’s time for me to be a bit narcissistic and talk about myself. My name is Liv (she/her), and I am a sixteen-DCt3YkoVoAAYgWdyear-old book blogger. I currently live in Pennsylvania, but this has not been my only home. I’ve also called California, Minnesota, South Dakota, and Oklahoma home.

If you couldn’t tell by this site, I like books. More than the average human, I’d suppose. My love of reading began with Tuck Everlasting in fourth grade. It then proceeded through YA books like The Hunger Games and The Book Thief. Now, I read a variety of different YA books. Although, I usually stick to the contemporary genre. Some of my favorite authors are Becky Albertalli, Adam Silvera, Ruta Sepetys, Heidi Heilig, Angie Thomas, and Victoria Scott.

Traveling is also one of my interests. Because of the variety of states I’ve lived in, I’ve visited many cities. Some of my favorite are Austin, TX; London, UK; Manhatten, NY; and Minneapolis, MN!

Besides books, I am very passionate about live theatre. I’ve been involved in various drama programs since I could remember. Sometimes I’m on the stage, sometimes I’m in the wings working behind the scenes, and sometimes I’m in the audience watching. Some of my favorite musicals are Hamilton (duh); Waitress; Spring Awakening; Natasha, Pierre and The Great Comet of 1812; Dear Evan Hansen; and Kinky Boots.
